Are you looking for a study space or a quiet place on campus to gather with classmates to work on a project or study for classes? We have a handy guide to help you locate the perfect study room and how to book these spaces.  

There are a lot of great options on both campuses to choose from. You are no longer limited to just the library for a great place to study. Open study areas include large rooms with lots of plugs for students to charge technology. These areas are on a first-come-first-served basis. During finals, limited spaces stay open for 24 hours for late-night cram sessions.

Open Study Areas

Student Centers with 24-Hour Study Spaces for Fall 2024

  • Both Student Centers will be open from December 3-5 with 24-hour access. Use your Talon Card/Mobile Credential to open outside doors after hours. 

Marietta Campus- First floor of the Wilson Student Center

Kennesaw Campus- Study Lounge on the first floor of Carmichael Student Center. This area is located across the hall from Talon One and the Market. 

Residence Halls

There are lounges on many floors of the residence halls that can act as social spaces or study spaces. The Summit is the only hall with designated study rooms you can go into and close a door for privacy.

Academic Learning Center (ALC)

The new ALC has excellent space for students to gather, including large study lounges and bookable 11 group study rooms. Plus, you'll be close to the SMART Center.

Many of the buildings on campus have seating areas on the first floor with big booths equipped with charging ports and comfy chairs. Sometimes, it takes walking around the various buildings to find a good table to stretch out on with your notebook and computer.

Study Rooms that Require a Reservation and How to Book Them

Library

The library will be your best option for a quiet space to gather. Group rooms hold anywhere from 2 to 10 people, and there are many of them to choose from on both campuses.

To book meeting and study rooms in the buildings mentioned above, students can visit the 正规博彩十大网站排名 Reservation system. You'll need your 正规博彩十大网站排名 NetID to log in, and then you can search available spaces on both campuses. 

Browse locations to see all the options available in the system. You can filter by room type to narrow your search to conference, meeting, or student study rooms. You'll "Create a Reservation" to book the room. Follow the prompts to include details for your reservation.

ALC

There are 11 bookable group study rooms. Larger spaces can be booked by reservation delegates. 

Bagwell Building

Four study rooms are located in the Bagwell Education Building, including rooms 124, 125, 417, and 418. Reservations are made by calling or visiting the Teacher Resource and Activity Corner (TRAC) at 470-578-6420, located in Kennesaw Hall, Suite 2001. 

Student Centers

Both Student Centers have meeting and study rooms that students can book by going to the information desk or using the 正规博彩十大网站排名 Reservation System. 

Marietta Campus

Aside from the Wilson Student Center and L.V. Johnson Library, the Atrium, Engineering Lab, and Engineering Technology Center have study rooms students can book.
